“It has provided me with an opportunity to find a "QUIET" place in the chaos of the bees. They are so busy and so complicated, yet there is a stillness inside the hive that offers a distraction from anxiety. The time working with bees I can take a break from the rest of the world AND BREATH. I love the outdoors and nature. I always have. However, with joint ailments and multiple back surgeries- hiking and other activities that I have always enjoyed are just not feasible options. But I can work with bees. I can enjoy this outside time with a purpose.”
